Legacy Lock

Legacy Lock is a mobile application designed for secure video storage and family sharing. It serves as a security and generation-focused video archive, functioning as a 'living time vault' that preserves precious family moments for future generations.
ReformedTech has supported Legacy Lock through our staff augmentation service, with a Flutter developer and a DevOps engineer working as part of the client's team. Our engineers contributed across the application's feature set, including:
- Video recording and secure storage
- Comments and interactive timeline
- Contact search and invite system
- Follow/unfollow functionality
- Push notifications
- User profiles and member profiles
- Followers timeline
The application is built with Flutter for cross-platform mobile development, backed by an AWS infrastructure including AWS Lambda, Cognito for authentication, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS for message queuing, S3 for storage, and CloudFront for content delivery, with Mux handling video processing and streaming.
Engagement context
ReformedTech work on Legacy Lock combined product thinking, implementation, and practical delivery support. The goal was not only to ship screens or code, but to make the workflow usable for the people running the operation day after day.
